I went here looking for a new wind screen for my helmet. My existing wind screen got a major scuff when I high sided my bike and it threw me head first into a soft dirt mound on the side of the road (luckily). I don't recall the guys name who helped me but he was very kind and courteous. They had the wind screen I was looking for (and the pin lock) in stock, which was good news for me. I recall my dear old friend Rev. Ron Spencer always spoke highly of Matthew's HD, and they proved their reputation to me this weekend. I will return and I recommend others to visit Matthew's HD for your motorcycle wants & needs.

Never Felt Pressured

Great Learning Experience

The class was very thorough. The ecourse provided good information, the classroom experience provided review of the ecourse learning and provided additional information. The format was interactive, which gave everyone an opportunity to participate. Jack facilitated a great learning experience in the classroom. On the range, we were shown various riding skills. Jack and Cathy both did an outstanding job, on the range. They facilitated the learning by explaining how to execute each exercise, demonstrating the exercise on a motorcycle, then observing us students perform the exercise, to which he and she provided immediate feedback on whether it was done correctly, or what needed to be done to improve.

Never A Bad Experience

I was on a ride on a Saturday afternoon and my battery died. I called Mathews HD and asked if they could come and pick me up. Mike hooked his trailer to his truck and came and picked bike and myself up and took me to shop. We tried again to start bike and it died again. I left bike at shop. Early the next week Melissa called and let me know it was the battery and it was fixed. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a bad experience at Mathews. Thanx Mike and Melissa and Mathews👍

Communicated Effectively

I called Mathews when my bike wouldn’t start. I tried doing what I could (jumping it, checking connections, etc…) but couldn’t get it going. The service department sent Mike out to take a look at my bike, figure out the issue and noticed another issue. He loaded it up on a trailer and took it to the shop. My bike was back up and running after a very short amount of time and Melinda communicated effectively every step of the way. The in class training was excellent, our instructor Lee was the best. Really felt like I was as prepared as a new rider could be. The range training was so much fun but challenging as well. Camyle and Kristi went above and beyond to accommodate and help me. I called ahead to check on the stock of a helmet I had been looking for online and in other stores. Since I live out of town the girls were able to assist me over the phone and put the helmet on hold for me to pick up in the store. Mrs. Matthews is so nice and whenever you are at a business and you do or don't like the staff, when you meet the owner or manager, you can see why. It all rolls downhill. I live in Atwater and in talking with Mrs. Matthews, I found that the family actually started in the Merced-Atwater area and she showed me pictures. I knew exactly where she was talking about and where that was. I will keep going to Fresno for my Harley. I could go to Modesto in half the time, but it is not the same and my daughter lives in Fresno, so I can visit her. It is an extremely friendly dealership and they take good care of you and treat you fairly. Family owned and the employees all love working there.

I rarely fill out surveys. I don't get anything for filling them out and when I do fill them out I never give perfect scores. I believe we can always improve but I love going into my dealership the staff has always treated me well. I am always afraid that I am going to wear out my welcome but they never seem to mind me hanging out and drinking their coffee. I know Matthew's is in the business to make money but they put the costumer first and profit second. When I am ready to buy my next bike I am going to Matthew's Harley Davidson. It had been over 40 ...

It had been over 40 years since I rode...a mini bike, 40 years a mini bike!! On Tuesday it just came to me, take a class, I called the dealer the class for the week was full. I enrolled in the class for the following Wednesday, I did not do any research on how to operate a motorcycle. I attended the Wednesday classroom training. I also attended the actual motorcycle riding class on Saturday and Sunday, it was awesome!! From one day to the next I learned how to ride a motorcycle, the right way the safe way, it was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle!!! I spoke with my friends and explained the process, two of them have already enrolled and completed that same motorcycle training class. 4 of my other friends are now enrolled to take that same class. It just came to me one day, take a class, now I can ride a motorcycle, a Harley Davidson Motorcycle!! This just came to me one day, and now my life and my friends lives have changed for the better, we love the class the whole experience, last but not least we all love the HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES!!!
