We are a dealership that revolves around family.  We strive to get to know our customers and encourage them to become a member of our

extended Harley family.  Being a Harley dealer for over 50 years, we have established a nice collection of completely restored

motorcycles which include at least one model from every decade

starting with the 1917 J Model.

Harold and Eva Mathews bought a Harley dealership in Merced in 1952.  In April of 1953, they moved into their building and established Mathews Harley-Davidson.  They had a son, Sam, who was born in 1955 and has been at the dealership since he was 6 days old.  Harold and Eva had an opportunity to relocate their dealership to Fresno in 1961.  They put a deposit on a building and they had three weeks to move everything in a trailer to Fresno.  Mathews Harley-Davidson is still at the same location in Fresno today.
